Geriatric Psychiatry
At Mind at Peace, we understand the unique challenges that come with ageing — changes in memory, mood shifts, and problematic behaviours that can place stress on families, carers, and GPs.
That’s why we offer specialist geriatric psychiatry assessments:

-
Compassionate care for older adults
-
Practical support for families and carers
-
Clear communication and shared plans with GPs and aged care staff
You don’t have to face these challenges alone.

How It Works

-
Referral – Your GP or aged care home sends us a referral.
-
Telehealth Consultation – The older adult is seen via secure video, with support from staff or family if needed.
-
Care Plan – We provide a clear, written plan with recommendations, sent back to the GP or facility.
